Bedouin Notes explores interfaces between identity, power and originality through the architectural heritage that appears on current national bank notes of the United Arab Emirates. UAE is a country equally known in a global scale for its wealth and exoticism. The series includes new photographs of each building set on an atmospheric colored background inspired by the respective banknote and digital engraving manipulation. Banknotes represented are 5, 50, 100, 200, and 500 Arab Emirates Dirhams.
