Out of the blue Nude explores colonialism and identity in old postcards. Abstract avant-garde painting converted female nudity into another formal element of its autonomous vindication in the first half of XX Century. With the eastern female figure as a central theme Out of the blue Nude updates the early struggle in European art between painting and photography.
